How to Stop Microsoft Store Redirects

Posted on June 22, 2021 By user No Comments on How to Stop Microsoft Store Redirects

Microsoft Store has just been updated to v6. As a result, it is much easier to browse and purchase Microsoft Store items such as eBooks, software, hardware and accessories. Here are some important points that will help you use Microsoft Store and perform the automatic updates via Windows Update. Read on to discover them.

While searching for an app in the Microsoft Store, you choose to go with the search bar or the regular list of categories. If you are planning to search the app in the Microsoft Store, use the search bar. This will display the results in tabs where you can switch between various categories, subcategories and all the categories. Select any app, then go back to the search bar to check for the latest updates.

For any app you want to install in the Microsoft Store, select the “Manage” tab and then click “Check Availability.” This will open the availability group policy editor. You can add and remove the apps in the store at any time. While in the group policy editor, ensure that you click on the “Manage” tab and then on “Microsoft Store.” This will open the Microsoft Store updates apps automatically.

While searching through the availability group policy editor, you may want to select “Remove all known apps,” “Uninstall programs,” and “Reset Windows XP.” The last two choices will pull up a box to select the settings you would like to apply. Again, the most convenient way to stop automatic updates via Windows Update is to go to the control panel, click on the “System and Maintenance” tab, and then click on “Check for updates.” This will open the Microsoft Store updates via Windows Update prompts. Click “Yes” to start the download of the updates.

After installing the Microsoft Store updates via Windows Update, you will need to sign in to the Microsoft Account to receive push notifications. This will allow you to receive Windows Store updates via email. To do this, go to” Settings,” select “Account,” then “OAuth 2 authorization,” and then “Sign in with Microsoft.”

If you are not signed in as a Microsoft user, you will have to find a Microsoft Store push notification sender. There are a few of them available on the internet. Some of them are free, some of them charge a nominal fee, but many of them will provide you with push notifications and other services such as customization, reporting, etc. Some of the better companies offering Microsoft Store updates through email, push notifications, and other services include.
